Global leader Diebold names Riki Aviv as vice President, eastern Europe and Israel

Diebold, Incorporated has appointed Riki Aviv as vice president, Eastern Europe and Israel. She will be responsible for developing and operating the company’s business in these geographies and further implementing growth strategies. Aviv has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the IT Industry where she succeeded in growing and transforming large-scale organizations in a global setting. She worked for 15 years in the Israel Electric company and for the last 15 years for HP/Compaq, most recently serving as general manager of the enterprise services division in Israel, where she developed a profitable business with significant footprint in the market while growing customer loyalty and regional leadership.

“Riki’s extensive experience to drive and sustain business growth and profitability for global corporations will make her extremely beneficial to Diebold’s growth efforts in the region,” said Bassem Bouzid, senior vice president and managing director, Diebold Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). “As an experienced leader with a proven record of success in the business services and technology industry, she will be a valuable addition to Diebold’s EMEA leadership team.”

Aviv earned a BSC in computer science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and various certifications in business management from Haifa University in Israel and from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.
