The COP21, which led to the Paris Agreement, had almost neglected public health, despite the joint appeal of the French Society of Public Health, the French Society for Health and Environment, and the National Council of the Medical Association to put this component in the center of the negotiations of the 21th conference of climate parts: “the big future climate events constitute major risks for the health and lives of the most vulnerable signatories so concerned about the low focus.
Also the conference to be held in the mornings of Haifa 2 and 3 May 2016 Nir Ezion Resort Hotel is of particular importance as it will bring together Israeli and French experts on climate and health. Prof. Haim Kutiel, head of climatology laboratory at the University of Haifa, architect of this exceptional event, managed to bring together a distinguished panel of experts from both countries.
